Basically in this video you can see some of the video we shot in the days before we left California and while we were traveling to our first hotel room. It starts off with us going to the Japanese Consulate in San Francisco where our visas were rejected 3 times- if you aren't familiar with that story check it out here and here. Well, after all that rejection we started to feel frustrated and a bit depressed- but instead of giving into those feelings we decided to look on the bright side. We took all those trips to San Francisco and turned them into fun touristy dates, which gave us a chance to see our favorite parts of the city one more time. And our friends and family really kept us going with their encouragement.
And then, finally, in one crazy morning, we scrambled our stuff together and got on the plane that brought us here.
